Sam Walton House. INSIDE Walmart Family’s Bentonville Mansion

Sam Walton was an American entrepreneur and the founder of Walmart, one of the largest retail chains in the world. Born in 1918 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Walton had a passion for retail from a young age. He opened his first Ben Franklin variety store, a five-and-dime store in Newport, Arkansas, in 1945. This store laid the foundation for what would become the retail giant, Walmart.

As Walmart grew, more and more people were intrigued about Walton’s home, which he built in Bentonville, Arkansas, where he lived until his passing in 1992. Was it a large luxurious mansion with all the amenities for opulent living and grandeur? Believe us, you will be surprised! But the house is indeed a great one!

Today we are welcoming you on our special documentary tour of Sam Walton’s Bentonville home, where lots of ideas were born and a new Walmart generation was raised! The rare vintage photos can help you imagine the life of a great businessman, who found success and happiness in humble things.
