Brad Pitt The Steel House in Los Feliz, Los Angeles | Brad Pitt’s Home Tour | Interior Design

Today, we’ll take a virtual tour of the current Hillside Home of a famous Hollywood actor and producer, Brad Pitt. You might be surprised to look at Brad’s charismatic personality from another side. Among his numerous accomplishments, such as seven Academy Award nominations, the title of People’s Sexiest Man Alive, and a thriving wine label, is his ability to invest in marvelous houses. The American superstar is a renowned architecture enthusiast and art collector. Recently, Pitt debuted as a sculptor at a Finnish Sara Hilden Art Museum public art exhibition.

His interest in architecture showed up in 2007 when the actor founded the Make It Right Foundation to build houses for families whose homes had been washed away in Hurricane Katrina. The foundation has successfully built 150 self-sustainable estates in New Orleans.

Throughout his stellar career, Brad Pitt has owned homes in New York, California, Louisiana, the south of France, and Mallorca. Brad told Oprah Winfrey in 2004, “I love that architecture is this huge art piece you can be inside. I believe it lifts your soul and affects your mindset.”

We’ll start with the freshest house in Brad’s extensive property menu: a mid-century, 2,092-square-foot house in the foothills of Los Angeles’s Los Feliz. Though the actor purchased the home just in 2023, his new home has already become a cozy nest due to Brad’s consistent effort, time, investment, and attention to detail.

He bought this lovely L-shaped “Steel House” property from the oil heiress Aileen Getty for 5.5 million dollars. Before Aileen, James Valentine, Maroon 5 lead guitarist, owned the home. Valentine completely restored the house in 2007 with the help of the renowned designer Mark Haddaway. Aileen, the granddaughter of oil tycoon J. Paul Getty, made a one-million-dollar profit from the agreement with Pitt after she purchased the estate from James Valentine in 2019. Since 2019, the estate’s price has risen from 4.5 million to 5.5 million dollars. We bet Aileen was delighted to hand over the keys to Brad.

The name “Steel House” is quite understandable: the house is made mainly of steel and glass. It’s more compact than the previous home in Correns, France, which he shared with his former wife, Angelina Jolie. Château Miraval was the 1,200-acre French vineyard, while Brad’s current Californian home has three bedrooms and 1.75 bathrooms. Brad was reportedly “looking for something smaller” when choosing his new home. He managed to downsize. The new home comprises a living room with a modern fireplace, a kitchen, three spacious bedrooms, a main bathroom, a pale blue walk-in closet, a patio overlooking the pool, a redwood hot tub surrounded by tropical plants, an independent sauna, a terrace with stunning views of Los Angeles lights.
