Gatcombe Park Mansion
One of Princess Anne’s most notable and primary homes is Gatcombe Park, located in Gloucestershire, England. This large estate features a stunning Georgian manor house which was gifted to her by the Queen in 1976. To be precise, the whole Gatcombe Park was bought by Queen Elizabeth from the former Home Secretary Lord Butler of Saffron Walden for a reported seven hundred thousand dollars. The Princess Royal has stayed at the property since 1976 when the Queen purchased it for her daughter and her former husband, Captain Mark Phillips. Moreover, Princess Anne’s estate is privately run as a business, hence is funded without any help from taxpayers.
